About Manjima
Relationships are the heartbeat of our lives. Our close relationships can be a warm and safe space for healing and/or bringing our authentic self forward.
My aim is to provide this same safety and warmth in our counselling relationship, free of judgement and rich in connection.
I feel fortunate in being able to provide support in navigating the challenges and complexities that naturally arises when bringing people together and/or moving through life stages and transitions—in whatever way this may look for you! I help support people both on an individual level and as part of relationship therapy.
I am sex, kink and poly-affirming and have experience working with: kink and kink-informed practices, sexual exploration, all relationship structures, systemic issues and systems of oppression, conflict, difficulties with communication and intimacy.
I am also neurodivergent-affirming and seek to understand how this impacts clients both as individuals and within relationships.
When I’m not engaging in counselling spaces, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, reading, hiking, and re-organizing my home for approximately the 111th time. Being surrounded by nature, gardening/arranging flowers, perusing a home goods store or bookstore, and being climbed on by small animals and children alike, are some of my happy places.

About the Work
I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds in addition to couples and families.
For issues related to sexuality and/or sexual health in a relationship, I aim to provide sex-positive acceptance and the safety for exploration as well as a trauma-knowledgable lens, especially when working through sexual trauma.
Within relationships, I seek to find a shared common ground that allows for continued growth and increased health and healing.
Through my work, my goal is to destigmatize sexuality, exploration of self-identity, and healing from sexual trauma, in addition to the many “taboos” that can create obstacles towards integration of these aspects.
I am a believer in the transformative power of calling upon and recognizing our own intrinsic talents and abilities and use a strength-based perspective as my belief is that we all have a sincere wisdom within us, waiting to be shared and/or realized.
My work deeply influences how I engage with the world: through a trauma-informed and cultural-competency lens, grounded in family systems and anti-oppressive frameworks.
I have over 5 years of experience in the healthcare field and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master’s Degree in Counselling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology
